The local village cricket team was founded in 1875, and since moving grounds and a new pavilion build in 1990 has grown immensely. The cricket club now boasts two league teams on Saturdays and a friendly team who play on Sundays and weekday evenings, as well as a clubhouse with a friendly feel and a fully equipped bar.
